Subject: Wish me luck

Hi All,

This will come as a shock to those of you who know me well
but I have made the monumental decision to take a complete year off.

There are a number of reasons, not least of which is the current state of
my work, the getting up early in the morning....every day, and the age
thing (I'm not getting any younger).  But the major contributor to my
decision has been my involvement with a Freedom Group in Bolivia, who are
 fighting for justice in their country against unbelievable odds.

I have been communicating with this group since I got back
from my overseas trip in September, and have finally decided to join
them.

I know most of you will think I am totally crazy, but I have
not taken this decision lightly.  Nothing you can say or do will stop
me doing what I truly believe in.  While I am yet to discuss this with
other members of my family, I feel sure they will all understand my
motives and give me the support that such an action deserves.

I hope to get in touch with you all again when the struggle
is won.

 I attach a photo of the group & would ask you to pray for me.

I've appreciated your friendhip down through the years. If I
don't come back, you can have my stuff.
